Created in 1977, the Brazilian Chamber of Containers (CBC for Câmara Brasileira de Contêineres, Transporte Ferroviário e Multimodal) is a multisectoral non-profit organization and the oldest entity focused on container users in Brazil.
Since its creation, the CBC always defended the use of containers and its diffusion inside Brazil and developed partnerships in order to reach this objective.
The CBC is an active member of, among others:
- CNT (Confederação Nacional do Transporte),
- CIT (Câmara Interamericana de Transporte),
- AEB (Associação dos Exportadores Brasileiros).
The CBC is in permanent contact with all the most influent Brazilian public organs such as the Federal Congress, ANTAQ, MDIC, ANTT e INMETRO.
